All those fields continue to involve inequality throughout the whole world. There are an insane amount of things that can trigger inequality. One of them, COVID-19, triggers the largest increase in between-country inequality in three decades. Throughout 2019-2020, there was a change of between-country inequality. During the pre-pandemic forecast, there was a total change of -0.8%, while during the post-pandemic peojection, there was a total change of 4.4%. Inequality can also cause reversing decades of income convergence. The income differences between countries decreased by 37% between 1990 and 2019.
